In the early 1950s, the Cypriot Community Association of Queensland was established with the aim of bringing together Cypriot individuals who had migrated from Cyprus to Brisbane, Australia.
The Association played a crucial role in assisting numerous Cypriot immigrants in adapting to their new lives in Australia, while also providing a platform to preserve their Cypriot cultural heritage encompassing cuisine, music, dance, and language.
With the passage of time, the Cypriot community in Queensland has had the opportunity to showcase their vibrant culture to the wider community by actively participating in diverse multicultural festivals and events held throughout Queensland.
